We use an automated system to send out emails with download links (and serial numbers) to customers. Sometimes these emails land in spam/junk mail folders so please check there first. However if you think you still have not received the download link, get in touch with us at support@valiantsamples.com and we will re-send you the download links with your unique serial number ASAP.
I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY DOWNLOAD LINKS. WHERE ARE THEY?
WHY IS MY DOWNLOAD SO SLOW?
CAN I AUTHORISE MY LIBRARY OFFLINE?
Unfortunately access to an internet connection on your system is mandatory for you to be able to authorise the library through Native Access.
CAN I REDOWNLOAD THE LIBRARY AGAIN?
If you have lost your files and have no backups you can contact our support on our website and we will resend you those files as a new download link. But please keep your initial receipt email on file so we can identify your purchase.
CAN I INSTALL THE LIBRARY ON MORE THAN ONE COMPUTER?
Yes, as long as you are the only user, you can install the library on multiple systems. As long as you can connect to Native Access and your Native Instruments user account, you can reauthorise the library again.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE KONTAKT PLAYER AND THE FULL VERSION OF KONTAKT?
The Kontakt Player is a free version of the Kontakt engine that’s available to download from Native Instruments by anybody. It works with licensed libraries (like this one). The licensed libraries will appear on the left library panel.
The full version of Kontakt works the exact same way, however it also allows you to have more flexibility with editing. The full version also allows you to use other expansive Kontakt Libraries that would otherwise be unavailable. For more information on the differences please visit the Native Instruments website:
CAN I REFUND MY PURCHASE?
If you have already authorised and activated the library through Native Access, then unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund. However if you have yet to authorise the library then you can contact support and request a refund.
I HAVE LOST MY SERIAL NUMBER
The authorisation number that you receive with your initial purchase is very important to keep, but in some cases it’s possible that you will lose this number. In this case you should be able to find your serial number online in your Native Instruments user account. Once you log in to your account, go to “My Products and Serials”.
You can log in to your account here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/my-account/
I GOT A “SAMPLES MISSING” ERROR MESSAGE WHEN TRYING TO OPEN THE LIBRARY IN KONTAKT / KONTAKT PLAYER
Sometimes when you move a library to a new location, it’s possible that some files could become missing, or the library’s folder structure changes. In these cases it’s always good to keep the original library zip files as backups. But in case you don’t have those backups, the safest thing to do is to contact us for a new download link. This will ensure you get all those missing files.
I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE LIBRARY BUT I DON’T KNOW HOW TO EXTRACT THE FILES
Fortunately this is not an overly technical task. But you do need a standard archiver program installed on your computer. There are a few different options you can try depending on whether you have a PC or a Mac. Here are a few options for free archiver software we found below.
For PC there’s 7-zip and WinRAR.
For Mac there’s a macOS version of WinRAR available and also The Unarchiver.
WHEN I TRY TO OPEN THE LIBRARY I GET AN ERROR THAT SAYS “YOUR VERSION OF KONTAKT IS TOO OLD”
This can happen when you try to open a Kontakt Library with an older version of Kontakt/Kontakt Player. You simply need to update your version of the free Kontakt Player through Native Access, or upgrade to the newest iteration of the full version of Kontakt. Once you have done that, all the presets in the library should load just fine. But in case you have any further issues in this regard, please get in touch with Native Instruments and they should be able to help you out.
I’VE REGISTERED AND INSTALLED MY LIBRARY BUT I CAN’T SEE IT IN KONTAKT.
If you can’t see your library in the library browser, it may be set to ‘hidden’. To change this, navigate to the settings (the top-right cog icon in Kontakt), go to ‘Libraries’ and see if your library is unmarked. If it is, then simply mark it and it will now display in the left library panel.
